Ciara dressed up with a Star Wars theme, too. She got a lot of comments, including several people who were pretty shocked to find out it was a 4yr old GIRL in the mask. Of course, she's been preparing for several months (ever since they got a voice-changer mask this spring) and all her mom's efforts to get her to switch (to a fairy or princess or ANYTHING more girlish) were futile.
The highlight of the evening was when it was getting pretty late & Ciara was getting quite tired... and we ran into a guy who wouldn't hand out candy until kids said "Trick or Treat". Tyrus & Denton piped right up to get their candy, but after 3 or 4 "What do you say??" requests... she finally got up the nerve & decided on a different quote "Don't make me destroy you!" Needless to say, she got her candy! ;)
Tyrus was Link (from Zelda) and Denton was Barrel (from Nightmare Before Christmas). None of our costumes were as fancy as Aprils... but they still looked good and had fun.
mine weren't fancy... they were incredibly EASY. It's too bad Ciara couldn't come join us (all star wars). That's an awesome story though! Post some pics when you get a chance, we'd love to see them!
She had the voice changer on, but said the quote herself. She had memorized 20-30 quotes to use throughout the day and evening. I think she drove her teachers crazy at school.
